Visitor FAQs

Q: Who can attend the Show? Can I bring my boyfriend/mother/bridesmaids/children?
A: Yes to all. The Show is not for brides only. There are lots of products and services for everybody in the bridal party. All of our boutiques also offer fashions for other members of the bridal party. We also welcome children of all ages. Your fiancé, family members, wedding party, and friends can be a great asset to you as you plan your wedding. They can collect information, provide valuable input, give you support, and assist in decision making.

Q: Can we still attend if we haven’t set a date?
A: Absolutely! This is a great way to start your wedding planning.

Q: Will I miss anything if I can’t attend on Saturday?
A: The same exhibitors are on hand both days and we have the fashion shows and on both days. The gown sale is in full swing from the minute the doors open on Saturday and bridal boutiques do replenish their inventory throughout the weekend. Obviously you will have more selection the earlier you attend the Show. This explains the line-up for the Saturday opening!

Q: Do I need to pre-register?
A: No pre-registration is required.

Q: Will the bridal boutiques have larger sizes?
A: The bridal boutiques have a complete range of sizes including dresses for  pregnant brides.

Q: Will I be able to try on dresses?
A: Yes. The bridal boutiques have change areas within their booths. If you will likely be trying on several dresses it makes sense to dress so that you can change quickly. We also request that you wear no make-up or a minimal amount to avoid staining dresses.

Q: Will there be dresses sold at a discount?
A: Most of the bridal boutiques will be selling end-of-lines and discontinued dresses at huge discounts.

Q: Will exhibitors take cheques if I want to buy something?
A: Some will take cheques. Most accept credit cards. There are also ATM machines on site that you can use to withdraw cash.

Q: Which exhibitors will be there?
A: Please check the list of exhibitors on this site. This list is constantly updated right up to show time.
If someone you want to see is not on the list they may simply be a little late signing up – it doesn’t mean they won’t be there.

Q: Do I have to pay to see the fashion show?
A: No. It’s part of the Show.

Q: How long does the fashion show last?
A: Each fashion show lasts approximately 30-40 min.

Q: Can I make bookings that day?
A: Yes, vendors will take bookings at the Show. Be sure to bring your checkbook and to inquire about refund policies.

Q: What should I bring to the show?
A: Pre-Printed Address Labels/Business Cards – Many of the vendors will ask you for contact information and enter you in drawings to win prizes for your wedding day. Filling out your name and phone number over and over can get tiring. Business cards are another option. By using computer printed business cards you can include other information not found on a typical address label such as groom’s name and wedding date. Printing the cards on your home computer can save on the cost.

Checkbook – Some vendors offer special show discounts if you book them the day of the show. Keep in mind certain vendors can only handle one wedding per day and their date books fill quickly. For that must-have vendor, be ready to reserve your date!
